I am so excited to show you another project I made as the Academy DT.
Here is my project for the June Mood Board - Bluish gray, Brown, Ceramic peach and Victorian Velvet colors.
As I looked at the mood board and thought about the colors, my first instinct was to make a project with a fantasy scene, in evening colors.
So, I made this card, with a cute stamp of a Centaur (a figure from Greek mythology, one half person and the other half horse).
I colored the Centaur stamp with alcoholic markers - Copic markers. The background and the horse fur are colored in bluish gray colors, similar to the MoodBoard.
I added scraps of paper that I cut in my Big Shot, in olive-green and mustard colors, with a few green sequins.
Also, I made you all a brief tutorial on how to make the texture on the background and the horse fur.
• First, paint the background with alcoholic markers (the background you want to add texture to).
• Then take a brush and alcohol. Place the tip of the brush on the background and see how the circle is formed.
• Add circles on circles.... until you get the result you want.
For more details on the products I used (stamp, numbers and combinations of copic marker, etc) you can find on my Facebook page and Instagram.
I remind you all, that you still have a few days to participate in our June challenge, click here for all the information.
We are waiting for you!
Have a crafty day.
